It works really well. The only complaint is that there is a slight high pitched hum to the PC, even when I first unpackaged and turned it on.

It's quite quiet though, and it's a mini PC so I expect it's because of the fan or processing power. Doesn't really bother me I forget about it a few minutes after turning it on.

All good! Very good investment for me :)

Perfect mix of performance and cost for the current UK market. I ran into a small support issue, but Lara handled it quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great value without sacrificing quality.

Brilliant little home lab machine

This has been a great little home-lab machine for me. It is super fast, the dual PCIe SSD slots are useful, and the upgraded fan is almost silent even under load. I would recommend adding slim heatsinks to the memory and to any second SSD you install. I was also pleased to find that mine came with Crucial SSD and memory components.

Very pleased so far

I have had the K8 Plus for about six weeks and it has not given me anything major to complain about. It has been running every day for six to ten hours without any trouble. All of the ports work as expected, it came with a UK plug, and temperatures have stayed under control even after I added a second SSD. Noise levels are acceptable, Wi-Fi has actually been better than I expected, and it has not dropped connection once. I only noticed a slight whine from the top cover at certain fan speeds, but putting something light on top stopped it.

Amazing performance with good thermals

The performance has been excellent for me, and the thermals were good right out of the box. The integrated GPU is strong enough for 1080p gaming at low settings, and the OCuLink port gives me the option to add an external desktop GPU later with only a small performance loss.

Fast and compact, but my speaker jack did not work

The computer itself is great and feels fast and compact, but the speaker socket does not work on my unit and I have not been able to find a driver fix for it yet.

Impressive little beast

This fantastic little machine replaced my old tower system and feels night-and-day faster. It handles multitasking without a problem, and I was worried about the onboard GPU before buying it, but that turned out to be unnecessary. I have played games at 1080p on medium settings with no issues, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth have both worked well for my keyboard, mouse, speaker, and controller. The BIOS power settings made a big difference for me, and even mounted behind my TV it stayed under control thermally while gaming.

Fantastic mini PC with one power-adapter drawback

This mini PC looks good, feels stable, and runs smoothly and fast for me. I found that it responds best in high-performance mode, although I keep mine in balanced mode most of the time. Overall I am very satisfied. My only complaint is that the external power adapter is surprisingly large, almost half the size of the PC itself, but since mine sits below the desk it does not really bother me.

Small and powerful, just what I needed

This turned out to be the perfect replacement for my old four-year-old water-cooled gaming PC. I was impressed by the build quality, speed, and performance from the start. After a clean Windows 11 Pro reinstall, activation worked without any issue. I tested games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Counter-Strike 2, and GTA 5, and I was amazed that such a small mini PC could match or even slightly outperform my older gaming PC with a dedicated graphics card. Power consumption was low, the fan stayed reasonably quiet, and I like that I can add more RAM, another NVMe drive, or even an external GPU later through OCuLink.
