GMKtec UK Payment Terms
These Payment Terms apply to purchases made through the GMKtec UK official website. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the payment terms below.
For shipping, returns, refunds, warranty service, and customs-related matters, please also refer to our Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept secure payment methods displayed at checkout, which may include:
- Credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other supported card networks
- PayPal
- Klarna or other buy now, pay later options, where available
- Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, or other express checkout methods, where supported by your device, browser, region, and payment provider
- Other payment methods shown at checkout
The availability of each payment method may vary depending on your location, device, browser, order value, payment provider review, and checkout settings.
GMKtec UK cannot guarantee that every payment method will be available for every order.
2. Currency
All prices on GMKtec UK are displayed and charged in British Pounds Sterling GBP, unless otherwise stated at checkout.
If your card, PayPal account, Klarna account, or bank account is issued in another currency, your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion, foreign transaction fees, or exchange rate differences. These charges are determined by your bank or payment provider and are not controlled by GMKtec UK.
Please review the final amount shown at checkout before completing your payment.
3. Payment Authorization
Payment must be successfully completed and authorized before your order can be processed.
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email confirming that we have received your order request. This does not necessarily mean that the order has been fully accepted or dispatched.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or hold an order for review where:
- Payment cannot be authorized or verified
- Billing information is incomplete or inaccurate
- Fraud, unauthorized activity, or suspicious payment behavior is suspected
- The order is flagged as medium-risk or high-risk by our payment or fraud prevention systems
- Product availability, pricing, shipping, or legal restrictions prevent us from fulfilling the order
If an order is cancelled after payment has been made, we will issue an appropriate refund according to our Return and Refund Policy.
4. Order Confirmation and Shipping Notification
After your payment is completed, you may receive:
- An order confirmation email confirming that your order request has been received
- A shipping notification email once your order has been processed and dispatched
If you do not receive an order confirmation email within 24 hours, please check your spam or junk folder first.
If you still cannot find it, please contact us at service@gmktec.com and include your order number, email address used at checkout, and payment reference if available.
5. Payment Security
All payments are processed through secure and encrypted payment gateways.
GMKtec UK does not store your full card number or sensitive payment details on our own servers. Card payments, PayPal payments, Klarna payments, and other checkout payments are processed by certified third-party payment providers.
To protect customers and prevent fraud, payment providers may conduct security checks before approving a transaction.
6. Payment Verification and Fraud Prevention
To protect both customers and GMKtec UK from unauthorized transactions, we may request additional verification before processing certain orders.
This may apply to high-value orders, unusual order activity, mismatched billing or shipping information, or orders flagged by payment providers or fraud prevention systems.
If additional verification is required, we will contact you using the email address provided during checkout.
We may cancel an order if:
- The payment appears unauthorized
- The payment cannot be verified
- The customer does not provide the requested verification information
- The order is assessed as high risk
- The payment provider rejects, reverses, or flags the transaction
7. Klarna and Buy Now, Pay Later Payments
Where Klarna or another buy now, pay later service is available at checkout, your use of that service is subject to the provider’s own eligibility checks, payment schedule, approval process, and terms.
GMKtec UK does not decide whether Klarna or another provider approves or declines your payment application.
If you return an item or receive a refund for an order paid through Klarna or another payment provider, the refund will usually be processed back through the original payment method. The payment provider may then update, cancel, or adjust your payment plan according to its own procedures.
For questions about instalment schedules, late fees, account approval, or provider-specific payment rules, please contact the payment provider directly.
8. Failed or Declined Payments
If your payment fails or is declined, please check the following:
- Your billing address matches the address registered with your bank or payment provider
- Your card number, expiry date, CVV, and billing details are correct
- Your card or account has sufficient available funds
- Your bank has not blocked the transaction for security reasons
- Your payment method supports online and international ecommerce transactions, where applicable
You may try another payment method or contact your bank/payment provider for further assistance.
If the issue continues, please contact us at service@gmktec.com with a screenshot of the error message, if available. Please do not send full card numbers or sensitive payment information by email.
9. Prices, Promotions, and Discount Codes
Product prices, promotional prices, and discount codes may change from time to time.
Please ensure that any discount code is entered correctly before completing payment. Unless otherwise stated:
- Only one discount code can be applied per order
- Discount codes cannot be combined with other promotional offers
- Expired, incorrect, or unused discount codes cannot always be applied after payment has been completed
- Some products, bundles, clearance items, pre-order items, or limited-time offers may be excluded from certain promotions
The final payable amount is the amount shown at checkout before you confirm payment.
10. Taxes, Shipping Charges, Customs Duties, and Clearance Fees
GMKtec UK currently offers free standard shipping on eligible orders placed through our UK store, unless otherwise stated on the product page or at checkout.
Some orders may be shipped from outside the United Kingdom. In such cases, customs clearance, import VAT, customs duties, courier clearance fees, or related charges may apply in some cases.
Unless we have expressly stated on the product page, at checkout, in your order confirmation, or in writing that such charges are included or will be reimbursed by GMKtec UK, these charges are the customer’s responsibility.
If a carrier requests payment for customs clearance, import VAT, duties, or courier handling fees, please keep the payment proof and customs or courier receipt. If your order has been expressly confirmed by GMKtec UK as eligible for reimbursement, please contact us with your order number and supporting documents for review.
11. Cancellations and Refunds
Orders are processed quickly after payment is completed. If you need to cancel or change an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Requests submitted within 12 hours of purchase can usually be reviewed before dispatch, but this is not guaranteed. Once an order has entered processing or shipping, cancellation may no longer be possible.
If a refund is approved, it will usually be issued to the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
For valid cancellations and eligible returns, refunds are generally processed within 14 days after we receive the returned goods or after you provide evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever happens first where required by applicable law.
After GMKtec UK issues the refund, your bank, card issuer, PayPal, Klarna, or other payment provider may take additional time to post the funds to your account.

12. Incorrect Payment Amounts or Duplicate Payments
If you believe that you have been charged incorrectly or more than once for the same order, please contact us at service@gmktec.com.
Please include:
- Your order number
- The email address used at checkout
- The payment method used
- A screenshot or proof of the transaction, with sensitive information hidden
- A brief description of the issue
We will review the case and assist you according to the payment provider’s procedures.
13. Business, Bulk, or Special Orders
For bulk orders, business purchases, dealer enquiries, or special quotations, payment terms may be confirmed separately in writing.
Please do not send payment for any special quotation unless it has been confirmed by an official GMKtec representative.
