GMKtec UK Return, Refund & Warranty Policy
At GMKtec, we want you to shop with confidence. This policy explains your cancellation, return, refund, and warranty options when purchasing from our UK store.
1. Your right to cancel
If you purchase from our UK store as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.
To exercise your right to cancel, please contact us within this period and include your order number.
Once you have told us that you wish to cancel, you must send the goods back within 14 days.
2. Change-of-mind returns
We accept returns for unwanted items within the cancellation period above, provided that:
- the item is returned in good condition
- the item is complete and includes all accessories, manuals, and original packaging where reasonably possible
- the item shows no signs of misuse, accidental damage, or abnormal wear beyond what is necessary to inspect it
If an item has been handled more than is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and function, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund to reflect any loss in value where permitted by law.
For non-faulty returns, if the item has been opened or used and is not returned unused, complete, undamaged, and in resaleable condition, a 15% repackaging / restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
3. Faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not-as-described items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, defective, incorrect, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please include:
- your order number
- a description of the issue
- clear photos or videos showing the problem
Where appropriate, we may offer repair, replacement, partial refund, or full refund, depending on the nature of the issue and the stage of the claim.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.
4. 1-year limited warranty
GMKtec provides a 1-year limited warranty to the original purchaser, starting from the date of order placement, for products that are defective in materials or workmanship under normal consumer use.
During the warranty period, GMKtec may, at its discretion and to the extent permitted by law:
- repair the product using new or refurbished parts, or
- replace the product with a new or refurbished product of the same model or an equivalent model
Any repaired or replacement product will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or 30 days, whichever is longer.
This limited warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights.
5. What is not covered by the warranty
The limited warranty does not apply to damage or faults caused by:
- misuse, abuse, mishandling, or improper installation
- unauthorized repair, disassembly, or modification
- accidental damage
- use outside the intended operating conditions
- use with incompatible accessories, power supplies, or third-party products
- external causes such as flood, fire, lightning, power surges, or other natural events
- cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
- commercial or business use, unless expressly agreed otherwise
Loss of software, data, or personal files is not covered. Customers are responsible for backing up all data before sending a device for inspection, repair, or service.
6. Non-returnable or restricted-return items
We may refuse returns, or reduce the refund where permitted by law, for:
- personalized, custom-made, or special-order items
- software, digital products, license keys, or downloadable content
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed, where applicable
- products returned with missing parts, accessories, manuals, or free gifts not caused by our error
- products returned in a condition that significantly reduces their value
7. Return process
To request a return, cancellation, or warranty service, please contact us first at:

- your order number
- the product name
- the reason for your return or service request
- supporting photos or videos if the item is faulty or damaged
Please do not send any item back without contacting us first.
The correct return address and return instructions will be provided by email after we review your request. The return address may vary depending on the product type, the reason for return, the service route, and the warehouse or service location handling your case.
8. Return shipping costs
For change-of-mind returns, the customer is generally responsible for the return shipping cost unless otherwise agreed by GMKtec.
For verified faulty, damaged, incorrect, or warranty-covered products, GMKtec will review the case and, where appropriate, provide a return label, reimburse reasonable standard return shipping costs, or offer another suitable solution.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service for all returns. GMKtec is not responsible for return parcels lost in transit without proof of shipment.
9. Refunds
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
For valid cancellations and eligible returns, refunds are generally processed within 14 days after:
- we receive the returned goods, or
- you provide evidence that the goods have been sent back,
whichever happens first, where required by applicable law.
After the refund has been issued by GMKtec, your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may take an additional 5–10 business days to post the funds to your account.
If you cancel within your legal cancellation period, the standard outbound delivery charge will also be refunded where required by law. Any upgraded, express, priority, premium, or other non-standard delivery surcharge is generally non-refundable unless required by law.
10. Order changes and cancellations before dispatch
Orders are processed quickly. If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Requests submitted within 12 hours of purchase can usually be reviewed before dispatch, but this is not guaranteed.
If the order has already been processed or shipped, it may no longer be possible to stop the shipment. In that case, your request will be handled under the return and cancellation terms of this policy.
11. Refused delivery, failed customs clearance, or incorrect address
If a parcel is returned because:
- the customer provided an incorrect or incomplete address
- the customer refused delivery without a valid legal reason
- the customer failed to cooperate with the courier or customs process
- customs clearance was not completed in time
then, where permitted by law, we may deduct the direct shipping, return, customs, handling, and carrier charges actually incurred from the refund.
If the delivery issue was caused by GMKtec or our logistics partners, we will work with you to provide a reasonable solution.
12. Customs and Clearance Charges
Some UK orders may be shipped from outside the UK and may be subject to customs clearance, customs duties, courier clearance fees, or related charges before delivery.
Unless we have expressly stated on the product page, at checkout, in the shipping policy, or in your order confirmation that such charges will be reimbursed by GMKtec, these charges are the customer’s responsibility.
If a reimbursement request is accepted by GMKtec, the customer must provide the order number, payment proof, and customs or courier receipt.
13. Exchanges
We do not guarantee direct exchanges for all products. In many cases, the faster solution is to process the original item as a return and place a new order for the replacement item.
If your case involves a faulty or damaged item and an exchange is appropriate, our team will provide the next steps.
